The majority of the Mando helmets were printed with an S1 Pro Plus Printer. The smaller earpieces were printed on an Ender3 using some filament left from a previous project with the rest on a new roll. In total, the helmet took 112 hours to print. The entire project went smoothly other than when a subport came lose in the beginning of the print, requiring some quick thinking to get the project back online. The solution was to use a piece of painter’s tape and a section of cardboard to secure it to the base to complete the print. It worked and the results were very satisfactory!
